TWS: When a translator is needed by a healthcare provider, the provider simply clicks on the icon to launch TWS. Once launched, the end user is prompted to select the language of choice for translation. Once selected, an optional two-column video is launched displaying the translator to whom the end user is speaking with.

TWS provides also an optional one-way video choice for patient privacy, if needed. Computerized and automated translation is always available when a live translator isn’t there at the moment.

The healthcare provider can also use TWS for the hearing impaired that communicate with sign language. During the encounter, the provider can launch TWS and begin a two-way conversation with a licensed sign language professional.
